Attitude inoculation is resisting an attempt of persuasion or social influence. It is a technique used to make people immune from an attempt to change their attitude.
Example – Body builders who are aware of side effects of consuming the protein supplements avoid them when someone persuades them to purchase the same.

Assertiveness is the quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive.
A form of behavior characterized by a confident declaration or affirmation of a statement without need of proof; this affirms the person’s rights or point of view without either aggressively threatening the rights of another (assuming a position of dominance) or submissively permitting another to ignore or deny one’s rights or point of view.
Example- Prime Minister Modi launched the Demonetization on the 8th November 2016. In his speech he asserted the benefits of Demonetization.
